Planned Giving

Thank you for expressing your interest in pledging to start or to update a regular planned donation to support St Paul’s, Clapham. You’ll likely either be a member of the congregation looking to switch your giving from standing order to the Parish Giving Scheme(PGS) – or a new giver who wants to start regular donations to St Paul’s via PGS. 

Either way you are very welcome, as giving to St Paul’s via PGS is by far the best thing for both St Paul’s and for regular givers. It means they are in complete control of the amount and frequency of their giving plus whether they want to Gift Aid their donations - allowing St Paul’s to reclaim tax already paid - and want inflation increases on their giving. For St Paul’s it means that all PGS giving is received promptly in one monthly payment, with tax reclaimed later that same month – improving cash flow and minimising administration. So please proceed and set up your regular giving via PGS – it’s a really great scheme.

As you can see - all you have to do is to register online with PGS and choose a regular donation. PGS will do the rest, including collecting from your bank, promptly paying over your donations without any fee deductions to St Paul’s and also reclaiming any tax under Gift Aid if you have agreed to this. Further you can ask for PGS to amend your donation for annual inflation, if you want to.
